How much does junk removal cost?
Junk removal pricing depends on how much space your items take in the truck, what type of items are being removed, how heavy they are, and how easy they are to access. Single-item pickups usually start lower, while larger cleanouts are priced by load size or quoted after review.
Starting Points

Simple pickups have a minimum. Bigger jobs get quoted.

Small pickups start at a minimum rate. Larger loads, cleanouts, heavy items, stairs, and difficult access are quoted from photos or in person so you know the price before we load.

Pricing Factors

What affects the cost of junk removal.

Most jobs are priced based on what we haul, how much space it takes, and how difficult it is to remove. Volume is usually the biggest factor, but access, item type, weight, stairs, and disposal requirements can all change the final quote.

The more truck space your junk takes, the higher the price. Most jobs are measured in thirds — partial, half, or full load.

Some items cost more to handle or dispose of — mattresses, appliances, electronics, tires, or unusually bulky materials.

Heavy items — concrete, soil, tile, dense materials — can increase disposal cost at the facility and require more labor.

Backyards, upper floors, basements, tight spaces, or long carries from the truck add labor time and are factored into the quote.

Carrying heavy furniture or appliances up or down stairs takes more crew effort. If stairs are involved, we note it in the quote upfront.

Some items require special disposal, recycling, or facility fees. These are included in your quote, not added after the job.

Why do photos help with pricing?
Photos help us see the volume, item type, size, access, stairs, and loading area before we arrive. That helps us give a clearer price faster and avoid surprises on pickup day.

Yes. Junk Squad confirms the price before anything gets loaded. If the job changes after we arrive, we explain the change before continuing.

Stairs, long carries, tight spaces, upper floors, basements, and difficult access can affect the quote because they add labor time. We factor that in before the job starts.

Prices vary based on volume, weight, item type, access, stairs, labor, and disposal requirements. Two jobs that look similar in scope can cost differently depending on what's actually involved.

Most jobs are priced by load size, item type, or project scope — not by the hour. You'll know the total before we start.
